While Jackie was still contemplating her next move, she was already spotted. Apparently this family had two kids, and both very early risers it seems.
"NAKED LADY!" a young girl screamed. She looked to be about 9, with dirty blonde pigtails and a freckled face. Height-wise she was nothing special, but her body was enormously fat and flabby, and even her thick stubby legs barely looked like they could support her massive weight.
"BOOBIES!" the young boy next to her followed up. He had the same dirty blonde hair and freckles as the girl, but he seemed to be around 13. While taller than the girl, he pretty much had the exact same body type. Jackie was sure these were siblings.
Jackie quickly ran up to the pair to shush them, because she knew exactly how bad this looked. It was one thing for a complete stranger to show up naked in your backyard. But a naked, adult stranger standing in your backyard, talking to your little kids while the sun has barely risen? Jackie knew enough about the law to understand that's multiple criminal offenses and a straight trip to the can, if the parents don't decide to just straight up beat the stuffing out of her.
"Hey hey kids, shhh! It's okay, I'm not dangerous! I uh..." Jackie tried to come up with something, anything to say. The girl stared right at Jackie's face in wonder, while the boy seemed to be looking... elsewhere.
"What creature are you? Are you a fairy?" the girl earnestly asked, taking Jackie by surprise. But she figured she'd roll with this.
"Ye...yes! I am a wood fairy. I was looking for my tree and I seemed to stumble upon the wrong one" she pointed towards the large ornate tree with swings attached to it. "I should find mine. If you could grant me some clothes I shall uh, give you nature's blessing and great fortune!" Jackie looked at the two kids, who were obviously contemplating something.
"Wood fairies are playful! Come play with us and we'll help you out!" the girl said, steadfast in her idea of fairy lore. Jackie sighed. "Uhhhh, sure. Okay. Where do you want to play?"
"I wanna go on the swings with you!" the girl yelled
"I wanna play in the pool with you!" the boy yelled
"We wanna play backyard wrestling with you!" the sibling yelled in unison
Jackie hated all of this, but she dug herself to deep already with this dumb lie. Anything these kids want to do now beats having to explain all of this to parents or cops. But what to choose...?
