Take on the role of a new mutant joining the X-Men

The creator of this Interactive Story provides this information and guidance:
X-Men: The New Mutant was one of my first stories here. I made it when I was still learning about writing.com, so this reboot will be more thought out than the previous one. There will be options for characters of either gender and different ages to give the option for a larger variety of characters, though I still expect teens going through puberty to make up a large number of the characters. To allow more stories to be told within the story, I’ll be removing the blanket ban on sex and swearing, but I’d still expect fade to black for the most intimate parts.

Within this story, you will take on the role of a mutant within the Marvel universe. Your powers are manifesting at the same time your body is changing as you grow into a teenager. Or perhaps your teenage years are behind you and you’re an active member in one of the existing superhero teams. Maybe you are unaffiliated with any of them. Possibilities and probabilities abound.

In memory of Stan Lee, go forth heroes, and have fun. Excelsior!
