This story is a reimagining of the Yu Gi Oh anime series concept except switching out the card game they use in the series for Magic: The Gathering. I think the Commander format would work well as an anime based game. Not sure where this might go, but looking forward to seeing what people cook up. A couple of things:

If you want to add a deck list, add an option in the first chapter you write and put the list in that option, so people can refer back to it if needed. Try to keep decks in similar brackets in a thread (either same bracket or up to one above).

The story will begin with the unveiling of a solid vision system that allows holographic images to be created above cards. Little does the world know, that these devices were created by Planeswalkers from outside our reality that are trying to plunge our world into chaos. Fortunately, though their technology has caused such chaos, it has also given the world the ability to fight back, using the very game they used in their ritual to fight against them. Will our hero or heroes be able to defeat the Planeswalkers before they bring far worse into our universe?
