The people who chose you to catch Pokémons wanted a fire type. But not any fire-type Pokémon, but a specific one that you even got the location of where you could find. Looking at the name, you read your target.

Ninetales
The elegant fox Pokémon that can sometimes use telepathic attacks and moves.

Arcanine
The huge fire dog, twice the size of a normal human being and can spit fire.

Charizard
The almost dragon Pokémon, so big and powerful, and Kanto's feared mascot.

Blaziken
The karate master chicken, legs so powerful that they could crack mountains.
