The moment you touch the glowing ring, the floor vanishes beneath your feet.
You don’t fall—not exactly. It’s more like sliding, weightless, through a tunnel of distorted light and memory. Sounds flicker past you in echoes: laughter, mechanical whirring, the warped strains of a music box. Then—
You land.
Hard, on your hands and knees. The air smells like rusted metal and warm plastic, heavy with grease and something faintly sweet… almost like birthday cake gone stale. You lift your head.
You’re in a dark hallway.
The floor tiles are checkered black and white. Fluorescent lights buzz overhead, some flickering, some already dead. The walls are papered with peeling cartoon posters: smiling bears, chickens, rabbits—all mascots frozen mid-performance, frozen in time. Dust clings to the air.
Somewhere distant, music plays.
🎵 "Happy birthday to you..." 🎵
It’s warped. Slowed. As if someone’s dragging a finger across a record player.
Your instincts scream leave, but the portal behind you is gone—replaced by a flat wall with an “Employees Only” sign bolted to it. You’re not just here now. You’re inside this place.
From deeper within, something moves. A whir, followed by a faint clunk of metal joints. Then silence. The music cuts off. A new sound begins: the soft pad-pad-pad of animatronic feet moving across linoleum.
The hallway splits ahead.
To your left: the faint glow of an Arcade Room, colors flashing through a cracked door, machines running on forgotten power.
To your right: the distant hum of a Security Office, a flickering lightbulb swinging above it.
Straight ahead: the heavy double doors to the Main Stage, slightly ajar, the darkness beyond thick and waiting.
