| | No ratings. A RWBY character gains the power to control how things are perceived. |
| Someone gets a new app on their scroll that allows them to control the perception of others, altering the minds of everyone involved. However, wording is imperative. Example 1: Reality vs Perspective While the app can alter how people see things, that's all it can do. It has no power over reality. "Ruby and Weiss will become sisters." They aren't biological sisters. "Ruby and Weiss will have a sister-like relationship." They can get a sisterly bond. Example 2: Retroactive Changes The app can retroactively change people, but only if it doesn't change history. "Weiss is head-over-heels in love with Jaune." The change in her personality would alter the way she'd have reacted to his advances. "Weiss has a crush on Jaune." Her cold attitude turns from rejection to her not liking him trying so hard. Example 3: Proactive Changes It can also proactively change people, but only it would make psychological sense. "Cardin will stop being racist against Faunus." There's no reason for him to suddenly change his ways. "(Event) made Cardin think about changing his view on Faunus for the better." He'll look at said event differently, causing him to slowly change how he treats Faunus. Example 4: Future Events The app's ability to control the perspective of events must be specific to the event itself. "Jaune will fall in love with Pyrrha." There's no given reason why this would happen. "After Pyrrha is honest with Jaune about her feelings, he will fall deeply in love with her." Once Pyrrah talks to Jaune, he'll develop feelings for her. Whether he had them before or not. A perfect example of the rules as provided by Zone , which I am very thankful for: "All bras start to feel uncomfortable on Nora and Pyrrha." The command was accepted and Jaune was glad he figured out the rules. This didn’t change the past since he added ‘start’, and then there was the uncomfortable part. This was a completely normal perception because sometimes, clothes just don’t feel right. I'll add new abilities as they come to mind. |
