In a junkyard at the very far end of Kanto, there was a single Houndoom on guarding duty. No human or any other Pokémon nearby, and he was making sure it would stay that way. Normally around a dog's neck, you would find a collar with either his name or his owner's credentials. But this one, unlike any other had a necklace around his neck with a small white horn symbol on it, one that seemed to match his own devilish horns on his head.
He doesn't remember or care where he got it from, just that it marks his pride and hard-working days he spent in the junkyard, protecting it from wild Pokémons or vandalizing humans. His most precious asset ever since he was born. One, that would make a fortune.
You've been watching the dog walk laps around the junkyard and smelling around for any potential intruders. Most notably, you've been eyeing that shiny necklace around his neck. You've decided that you must take it from him and have it for yourself.
There was a small fence that you could easily leap over and enter the junkyard where the Houndoom is. But once you do, you doubt he'll be friendly towards you, especially since you want his 'collar'. But you weren't going to back away so easily, so you made your decision.
