Escape

Continuing the fight would waste valuable time and sap Dauphin's energy. She knew now, more than ever, just how important it was for to her to get to see the King: the forces of Cardac were everywhere.

As her steed rose into the sky, leaving Dauphin's earth bound assailants behind, she breathed a sigh of relief. Everything always seemed safer whilst up in the air.
