Shirt and Shoes

The twenty-year-old was a much better bet. Being older, he was more likely to be able to help. And even better, he might recognize Ben. That could only work to Ben's advantage more, right? So, as quickly as he could, he ran toward the young man. It was a long run, but he didn't slow down for a second. He didn't dare risk being caught in the middle of the beach by anyone, especially if it turned out to be Ron or Jason.
He didn't stop until he had reached the young man. Then, he turned, just in time to see Jason back at Ron's beach towel, a pair of binoculars in hand. He had obviously been waiting someplace to watch the action unfold when Ron returned to his towel to find his shrunken rival. From there, he must have seen that Ben had escaped, and was now searching the surrounding area for Ben.
Jason turned in Ben's direction, and immediately, Ben panicked. The distance he had just run to come here had been quite long for him, but for Jason, it was only a couple yards away. And, Jason was on the look-out now. Unless Ben did something, it would only be a matter of time before Jason found him!
Ben spun around. The giant form of the man before him breathed in and out, as he napped on the beach. He could perhaps try to hide on the man, but the only place he could really hide was if he crawled into his shorts. Ben's eyes continued to search. The only other option was the man's shoes. A pair of sneakers with two white socks hanging over them were sitting right next to where Ben stood now.
He looked toward Jason again. Jason had moved closer. He was walking all around the beach towel in a circular rotation, scanning the entire area. Ben had to move quickly. He had to make a choice. The man's shorts, or that man's shoes?
