Jack looked a little strangely at his daughter. "Clara..." he started. He went over, and tried to do the hemlick, but Clara pulled away, and started laughing like a hyena.
Matilda looked strangely at their daugther. "Clara, are you alright?"
"I can't believe you two fell for that one!" she giggled, in her six-year-old way, "You played a joke on me, so now it was my turn."
"No, honey, we didn't play a joke on you," Matilda said.
"Yeah you did," Clara explained. "You left me here all alone, and then you were at Aunt Jade's. That's funny! So was mine, huh?"
"No, Clara, that wasn't funny," Matilda growled, "Up to your room, and no more dinner! That scared us, you could have died!"
