Closing the Door on Brad

"Yeah, well, you know, Brad," Emma stammered. "I really appreciate you coming and paying me a visit. But I think you'd better go."

"Oh." Brad looked down at his shoes. They were red nikes, that he had gotten as a Christmas present last year. "Well, it was nice talking to you."

"You too." Emma was just about to close the door when she heard another whimper fall out of Brad's lips.

"Wait," he said. "You're in my biology class. Do you understand the homework we had to do?"

Emma says:

You have the following choices:

1. "Yeah, I understood it."

2. "Ummm...we didn't HAVE any biology homework..."
