Quickly, Emma took a piece of paper from a notebook in a drawer by the television and started to write.

Hi Mom!

I'm gonna be gone because I'm at Daniella's house. So don't worry if you come home and I'm not here. I'll be back soon. See you later.

Love, Emma

With that off her shoulder, she slowly made her way to the door.
