Katie’s face grew into a large smile – to Daniel, it was a very ominous sign, and he knew exactly what it meant. Her hand pulled up the back of her pant leg, and she grabbed the rim of her sock. Slowly, she peeled the sock off of her soft, delicate foot, and as her smooth bare sole was revealed, April began to snicker.
“Oh, that’s mean!” April giggled. Daniel didn’t know what to do. He didn’t want to be pressed up to Katie’s humungous sole, or squeezed between her dainty toes. Even if they were soft and smooth and didn’t smell bad, they would be still be torture to him, and that humiliation was starting to drive him crazy! He didn’t WANT to be a helpless toy anymore!!
“Let me go!” Daniel screamed. He squirmed right and left, but Katie’s grip tightened around him, reducing his attempts to nothing. “Don’t do that to me! NO!” Katie stuck out her enormous tongue at him, grinning in defiance of his feeble struggles. She fully removed her sock, and she poised her foot so that the ball of it was facing Daniel. He looked helplessly at her wiggling toes, as she very slowly moved him and her foot closer to one another.
His sister had scooted around in front of Katie, to get a better view. She bit her bottom lip to keep from laughing as she pretended to be a news-reporter. “So how does it feel to be toe-tally da-feet-ed, Little Bro?” This was a common way for them to mock him when they forced him to smell their feet, but this time everything was too huge… The enormity of the position: the giant smirking faces of the girls, his big sister’s enthusiastic, ear-splitting voice, and the giant humiliating sole that was getting nearer by the moment… It was too much!!
But there was nothing Daniel could do, and the intensity of the situation overwhelmed him as he finally made contact, and was pressed between Katie’s fingers and the cool sole of her foot. The girls broke out in giggles! He was pressed harder for a moment, and when this extra pressure was relieved his decompressing lungs filled his nose with the smell of Katie’s foot. The smell wasn’t repulsive or bad – but the sight of her grinning face, and the knowledge that she was making him smell it, it was overwhelming. He tried to struggle and fight his way out, but instead the force of her hand again forced him to smell the humiliation.
“Like it or not, you have to smell it!” Katie triumphantly chirped.
