It's Great To Gain

You open your bedroom door and stumble into the hallway with only your boxers on and grab the hallway phone and say," Hello, Mike here."
"Good morning sleepy head," comes your Dad's voice in his usual cheerful voice.
"Good afternoon Dad," you greet.
"So did I just wake you up?" Dad asks from the other end.
"No, I've been up for hours, I was just downstairs doing a bit of weight training," you lie and wipe the sand out of your eyes.
"How about (insert your name here)?" asks Dad.
"Haven't heard anything from him," you answer and look into his bedroom," he's not in his bedroom or in the living room. He's probably playing with little M."
"Mostlikely," Your Dad agrees and you can tell he's smiling," So what are your plans for the rest of the day?"
"I'm just going to take it easy and enjoy my freedom before I have to get a job," you answer.
"Sounds good, enjoy it while you can," your Dad jokes," and don't spoil your apatite; your Mom wants all four of us to have a nice big meal to celebrate your return."
"I don't think my monkey suit fits anymore," you joke and wonder how many of your clothes won't fit now since you've gained weight at college.
"Just look presentable," Dad suggests," have a shower, shave and wear shorts and a shirt. That will be good enough for tonight."
"Very well," you say lightly," see you later."
"Have a good day Mike," Dad says and hangs up the phone. You do the same and head back into your bedroom to find your razor your brought home yesterday and see a small container sitting on your bedside table with a note attached to it. The note reads:

Hey Mike, I found this at a new store in the mall called Notz and Yeps. I've decided not to use it, so you can have it.

With a confused look on your face, you pick up the little container and read it's label:

Wishing Powder

To use the Wishing Powder, mix a small amount of powder into liquid, stir, and take a sip and either say, or think your wish.

"Is this stuff for real?" you say out loud to no one.
