Coach was delighted beyond relief.
"Two genies in the pot! Does that mean I get double the wishes? We shall see.."
In a few moments, the smoke came out and puffed out Morad who now sat on a chair near Coach.
Morad stood up and huffed and puffed, "Coach?! What was that? How could you let me go in?!"
Coach took a deep breath, "I get it. I didn't know that would happen. Look, let me explain from the top."
Coach explained the whole situation to Morad. As the story continued, he slowed down his breathing.
"So, you were wanting me to try rubbing the lamp to actually try a wish out?" said Morad.
"Yes, absolutely. Now I know that only one person goes in the lamp and that I have to cycle through my wishes before you can go."
Morad nodded, "Okay that makes sense. So what are you going to wish?"
Coach shrugged, "Not sure. But I'm not going to waste it. Let me think for a day or so and I'll call you up."
Morad smiled, "Sure you do that! Call if you need anything. I would love to try that out!"
Coach hugged Morad. He stuffed the new lamp in his bag carefully and went home.
After making an old fashioned, he opened his laptop and did some reading on genies. Lots of interesting ideas and myths. One that stood out to him was stories of mischievous genies that would be creative with a persons wish: either for good or bad. Depending on their interpretation and feelings towards the master. Coach then read other myths about the user being transformed themselves as part of the use of the lamp.
No pain, no gain. Coach smiled even more, "I think I have a good idea of how to make this fun."
After a few minutes of rolling ideas over in his mind and rubbing his belly he got an idea.
"Hmmmm... I could give some other options and see how it plays out.... two more lamps? Yeah, that will do!"
Coach called up the shop owner and explained that he wanted two more lamps. Nice and ornate.
The owner chuckled, "You try the other one yet?"
Coach looked at the lamp and laughed, "Sure did. Long story. I'll show you soon. Do you have two lamps?"
"Yes sir. Will be 100 dollars for both."
"No worries. I'll be over" Coach stood up and drove to the store. He entered to see the old Middle Eastern man smiling at him.
"So, did someone rub that lamp Coach?"
Coach smiled, "Well, let's just say that I'm going to spice things up and I'll let you join in tomorrow."
The old man's eyes glimmered with delight, "You serious? That lamp was real?"
Coach winked.
The man smiled back, "By Allah's, I would never had dreamed of seeing this day come. A real genie...."
Coach smiled, "That being said, I need the two lamps to finish my dream of where to take this next. It'll be fun no doubt."
The old man laughed, "Absolutely. Here they are."
They were red and black lamps. Perfect for what Coach wanted.
"Thank you! And here's the cash. I'll let you know when I'm ready tomorrow for you to show up. Bring some good food as well. A big feast for the main event. My guests will need it."
"Oh sure! That will be wonderful! Say 7 PM?" said the old man.
"More like 8 PM. Nice and dark. Fits the mood better. Plus, I'll need some time", Coach smiled knowing the reason.
"Sounds good. I'll head the mosque to ask for Allah's blessing tomorrow. We shall both have fun!"
Coach nodded. He was about to causes a rumble in the universe. And why not? It's time to shake things up a bit.
What happens next?
