"Permanent wishes? Sure. The trick is to keep wishing the same thing, over and over, every time it starts to fade. Reinforcement. Like sharpening a blade — the more you hone it, the longer it stays sharp."
You tilted your head. "So… if I just keep asking for the same thing, eventually it’ll stick?"
"Exactly." Swizzle tapped the side of his nose. "Consistency is key. Most folks make a big flashy wish and then walk away, expecting it to last a lifetime. But if you treat wishes like tending a garden — water them, repeat them, keep wanting them with your whole heart — the change can settle in, like roots pushing deep into soil."
He leaned forward, his eyes suddenly bright.
"Of course, most people get impatient. They let doubt creep in. And doubt," he hissed softly, "is the surest way to undo everything."
