The coach took Alan back to this office at the schools recreation center. He pulled Alan from his pocket and dumped him on the desktop. When Alan’s vision adjusted to the light he looked up and saw the Coach putting the spell book on his book shelf in amongst the other books.
Returning to his desk he sat in the old creaky wooden chair.
Looking down at Alan he spoke, “ Looks like you got yourself in a pretty big, I mean little, mess there boy.
“Listen coach” Alan implored. “I’m sure there is a spell in that book to reverse this. Just look inside and change me back to normal, please !”
Coach Grayson just shook his head. “Sorry son, that’s not gonna happen just yet. I thing you need to learn a lesson or two first.” Then he grabbed Alan in his thick jock hand and carried him out to the locker room. He opened a locker and pulled a pair of soccer cleats from it. Taking a piece of sports tape be secured Alan to the tape then shoved him inside the sneaker, all the way into the toe section. There was no way for Alan to brake loose from the sticky bindings.
Coach Grayson then spoke into the shoe. Alan in a few minutes your brother is going to be coming to Soccer practice. He wont feel you but your going to join us for practice. He laughed.
Alan began yelling but little could be heard at his size from inside the sneaker. Coach then shoved in a dirty sock form the locker. One Mike, his brother would most likely be wearing for the 6th time in a row.
The sneaker was stuck back into the locker and the door closed.
Alan began thinking this was all a dream. But then the clatter of young boys and lockers opening shocked him back to reality. Mike opened the locker door, grabbed the sneakers and dropped them to the floor. He undressed and sat on the bench to put on his last item, his shoes.
