This choice: The other members of Y-R-P arrive, eager to tell her about a new sphere. • Go Back...Chapter #5The other members of Y-R-P arrive, eager to tel... by: Thatguythere   After a healthy breakfast and a quick jog around the island to keep her stamina and strength up, Yuna returned home only to find her teammates Paine and Rikku waiting eagerly for her. Or, as eagerly as Paine could. Rikku was fairly bouncing off the walls.
"Yunie Yunie Yunie! We found a new sphere in the Zanarkand ruins!" Rikku burst out, running up to her cousin. "Shinra thinks it's something really good! Something about the whatsit waves or whatever..."
"The fluctuations of power coming from the reading." Paine clarified, walking forward and placing her hands on her hips. "It's supposedly a relic from before even the era of Zanarkand, buried deep inside the main dome."
"Really? It might have some interesting data on it, then..." Yuna said, placing her chin in her hand. "Let's go for it!" She finally said, nodding firmly with a bright smile on her face.

"Nearing the Zanarkand Ruins...you girls better get ready." the navigator of the Celsius, Buddy, called down, tapping away at his computer as Brother, the pilot, guided the airship in smoothly.
"We're all ready for the drop off." Yuna called as the hatch opened, the three girls hopping down and landing gracefully outside of the large, ominous dome. "We'll keep in touch!"
"You be careful Yuna! You sure you don't want me there?" Brother called over the comm link, his voice plaintive and begging.
"I'm sure. I'll keep you posted, though." She chuckled as the group trooped inside, the pyreflies dancing and glimmering in the gloom. The three stolid adventurers trooped through the crumbling ruins of the dome, eventually reaching the former Trials.
"Wow...this brings back memories...of making Tidus do manual labor!" Rikku giggled, while Yuna smiled and walked through the door to the lift room.
"Yeah...it's been so long since we came through here to fight Yunalesca...that's where the energy reading is coming from, right Paine?" Yuna asked, sitting on the steps leading up to the now blank monitor.
"Down the lift and straight through the room holding the Fayth statue..." she replied, pocketing Shinra's portable sphere-tracker. "Though the sphere is moving now..."
"Really?! That must mean LeBlanc is here!" Rikku yelped, scrambling for the lift as fast as she could. Yuna and Paine exchanged glances before following along.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
