As he lay in the radioactive cavern, Armadillomon's body began to change and adapt. His body took on a more humanoid shape, some of his armor plating shifting and changing shape. To protect himself from the radiation his armor became thick and jagged, becoming rock-like, looking like miniature mountains sticking from his widening back. His arms bulged outwards as the muscles grew thicker and stronger, as well as his skin becoming tougher, almost like a thin layer of sandstone. His chest expanded and divided into massive slabs of muscle, spasming as they grew. Armadillomon's skin developed thick forest-green stripes which contrasted strongly with his sandy-yellow colouration.
Although his physique was formidable-looking, the growth had not ended. His body bulged and throbbed as if he were partially liquid, his muscles growing even bigger and more powerful. Stalagmites then began growing out of his elbows and shoulders, making him look monstrous alongside his physique. Armadillomon had now become a behemoth of muscle, looking like he had been carved out of stone but still retaining a semi-smooth skin in some areas. He groaned, still unconscious and unaware of his change.Subconsciously, he rolled into a boulder-like ball, and stayed that way, his shell protecting him from the radiation...
