"You know what, you were right..." you say, looking to Emily, still lying in the sand. "We can make the shelter later, and if a storm does hit the island we can always take shelter in the trees." Emily smiled and looked into your eyes. "What do you want to do then?"
You pause for a moment, thinking, "Wanna just walk for awhile?" Emily smiled, "sure."
The two of you get dressed and begin to move down the beach. There isn't much to see, but you are satisfied spending time with her.
After awhile, you wander across an old hut. Its up the beach a ways, right at the edge of the forest. It's completely constructed out of dried reeds and pieces of driftwood, but it looks like it would hold. Emily brightened up, "we can use this place for our shelter!"
You almost agree, but then stop. "Wait, somebody built this. They could be around here anywhere. Something tells me they wouldn't like us just barging into their house while they weren't home, and who knows where this island is. If they're stranded like us, they might not even speak the same language!" Emily peered at the hut for a few moments, and then scanned the tree line. "I don't see anybody around, and this is going to be alot easier than building a shelter would be. I say we use it for now. What other choice do we really even have?"
You think for a moment, and then agree."Alright, but I still don't like this." The two of you enter the hut, gazing at the unspectacular emptiness. You sigh, "this place looks abandoned. There are no supplies or anything. Just a stupid little reed-bed-thing and some empty coconuts... We'll have to go get food from the forest then."
