The path narrows...

The road to the forest was wide at first and for the first half of an hour riding was easy and unobstructed. However as the two rode on thin pine branches and leaves began to brush their arms. And within a few minutes it became neccessary for the two riders to dodge and duck branches that would have otherwise dismounted them. And not soon after, they were lost, no trail below them and no opening on any side that could be seen by the dim moonlight.
"Well now look what you've done, you 'ave led us astray!" he smiled, Isabelle knew he was joking and was not worried in the least, he told her many stories of his hikes into the woods. Encountering theives, drunkards and wild animals. However she was afraid.
