I sent a burst of white energy over their heads, and yelled for them to stop. They ran on regardless, heading to the highway. The reached the edge of it.
White headlights shone through the rain, blinding the pair. I was almost at them. The car screeched to a halt, and four of Them jumped out. Behind us, for I had reached them, a few demons jumped from the shadows, circling us. We were trapped.
