What's in a name?

The pale mouth opens wide, flashing the brilliantly white teeth again, and lets out a soft, confident laugh. "It's so typical to go asking WHO someone is. But even if I gave you a name, would it matter? If I told you what I do, would you believe me?"

You are more un-nerved than ever, but incapable of saying a thing, of moving, or running as you are somewhat compelled to do. This experience and the sensations you feel are already so surreal that you feel that whatever is happening was in fact meant to happen... inescapable.

"You can call me Nil. As to what I do, as I already mentioned, I teach things, but it's very hard to be specific about them without simply demonstrating."

Once again, you cannot move. Your hands are sweating. They are as soft and relaxed as gelatin, and yet heavy as lead at your side. Your lips, too, seem to have gone numb. You can feel sweet, heavy saliva welling behind your lower lip.

You manage to say this much: "I feel... so hungry."

Nil bares his gleaming teeth and nods his head neatly. "Already you are learning..."
