Matt chuckles and rubs his growing gut. He takes a look around, then turns back towards Cal and says, "Yeah, I'm packing it on! Just like you, Cal-o-ries!"
A couple of the others laugh, and Cal looks down to see a serious gut on his middle! He feels the hunger in it too, and hears Matt say, "Yeah, it's still there. And I bet it's hungry, like mine!"
There's a thud and Cal's visualisation vanishes, to be replaced with the reality of Matt, his urbane and well-dressed roommate, dropping a heavy book on the desk. "All done!" says Matt, who then drops heavily into his desk chair. "How's it coming Calvin?" Matt asks. "When you're done we should go explore."
"Sure!" says Cal. "And 'Cal' is just fine, Matt."
"OK!" says Matt. "Say, do you need a hand?"
"No, I'll just be a minute. Well, hey, sure, can you just collapse those boxes?"
