With a huge thud, Kelly stepped down in front of Marie. Running along the long length of the fluffy slipper, Marie grabbed the furry footware and pulled herself up.
Her eyes grew wide as all too quickly she realized her mistake. High above, Kelly's heel was lifting, carrying the slipper forward. The slipped dipped forward and Marie rolled quickly down against Kelly's soft plush sole. Tucked up against the ball of Kelly's foot, Marie struggled wildly as the step was almost completly.
With a heavy flap, Kelly stepped down hard in her tired state. Fortunatly the furry insole of the slipper and Kelly's plush feet had spared Marie this step. Even though she was pressed firmly into her friends sole, Marie waited breathlessly for the pressure to release. Cautiously she lay still as the weight was released off her chest and another slap against tiled floor told her of Kelly's next step.
Step upon step the pudgy feet nestled Marie deep into the slippers insole. Struggling back against the wrinkled surface did no good, as she just fell back into place during the next step. Finally she heard the tap turn on and Kelly stood up on her tip toes to get a glass from the cupboards. She was huge to Marie at the moment, but Kelly was still short.
