Catherine sat her pink skirt clad bottom down on the grass in the shade of a tall tree on the school grounds and set the purse on her lap. She still did not know what the girls were laughing at her about, and so she opened the bag and peered down at her four captives with her big brown eyes.
"One of you is going to tell me what was so funny." She said as she reached her hand into the purse and grabbed at random the Hispanic girl who first laughed at her.
