After finishing the quickly scribbled note, Julie turned and walked out of the room.
Little did she notice that her routine steps caused something tiny and pale to topple off the side of her shoe.
Not much later, tiny Matt recovered from the bone-pounding fall from Julie's shoe. By that time, she was long gone, leaving him all alone in his own massive room.
Although the change in scale left even familiar surroundings looking rather bizarre, Matt managed to claim a modest victory. He was no longer in the basement, but instead had managed, with some help from Julie, to get upstairs into the habitat of his own room.
But, as the tiny teen looked around the huge surroundings, the fact he was in his own room didn't seem to do him a whole lot of good.
He was still curious about the reason Julie had gone to his room in the first place and remembered the note she had written.
"I wonder what's in that note?" Matt thought as he stared at his towering desk.
If he could get onto his desk, maybe he could read the message and even think of a way to get some help from Julie, his sister or someone else.
