Love Notes

Matt was undergoing turbulence.

His plan to hitch a ride out of the basement on Julie's shoe had backfired on him. His plan had been to scale to the top of her shoe and secure himself under the laces. But he hadn't made it up in time. He was now holding on to the side as best he could. Which wasn't very good at all.

Each step Julie took was like trying to hold on to the side of a jetliner in flight. The sheer force of the air moving around threatened to rip his arms right out of the sockets.He looked around as his house passed by in a blur as Julie made her way upstairs to Kellie's room.

Julie made a slight detour on her way back to Kelly's room, veering out of the hall and into Matt's room. She decided to leave him a note, telling him to call her later. She stopped at his desk, grabbed a Post-It note and a pen, and started to write...

Matt, meanwhile, had noticed her stop too. In his room, no less. "What is she doing?" He said to himself. He chanced a look up Julie's immense legs and saw her bent over doing something, she looked like she was writing something.

"Julie! Look down! Down here, on your shoe!" He screamed.

Julie, who took no notice of tiny Matt on her shoe, finished writing the note and started to leave, catching him off guard. Does he manage to hold on just in time, or is he thrown off the shoe?
