Jenn stood at the door of the computer lab and peered inside. The lab was mostly empty except for the girl and her boyfriend, and she cringed right away when she saw who it was. Penny Pantzer was short and curvaceous, but she dressed like such a nerd, with her Doctor Who T-shirts and her plaid skirts. Her blonde hair was just hanging there, with no style at all! And somehow, this pathetic little nerd girl had managed to snag Zack Hawkins, one of the hottest guys in school. He was short too but well-built, and the only problem was that he wasted his time hanging out in the computer lab as a lab tech.
Jenn waited for him to kiss his girlfriend and step out of the lab, a smile on her face. As Zack left, she hid behind the door and ducked inside, being careful to lock the door behind her.
Penny was playing some game or another when Jenn approached, holding the remote between her fingers. She bent forward, pulling her arms into her chest to puff it out a bit. "And what are we doing today, bug?" she asked.
"Oh, hi, Jenn!" Penny answered. Ever the perky one. "It's called SquareShot. Sort of a geometry-style puzzle game."
"How boring," Jenn said with a pronounced yawn. "Is this what you tiny people do all day? Play boring video games?"
"Well, I like it, but I guess there's no accounting for taste!" Penny chuckled. She was getting nervous, obviously--Jenn was moving in closer, looking down at her, being sure to emphasize how much taller she was. "Did you... need something?"
With a smirk, Jenn turned the computer monitor off and slid in front of Penny. "As it happens, I do need something. I need you, my pathetic little insect, to come with me. And I need you to become your real size."
Penny was now starting to truly freak out. "Um, yeah, okay, you're weird, Jenn." She tried to stand up, but Jenn pinned her down by putting her hands on her shoulders.
"Oh, no," Jenn said. "You don't understand. You're much too big right now."
She aimed the remote.
"I need you smaller."
And she fired.
For Penny, there was a flash of light, and then acceleration. She could only watch as the popular girl in front of her grew taller and taller, wider and wider, more massive with each passing second. She wanted to run, but she could see her seat stretching out wider and wider before her, and by the time she managed to stand up on top of it, it stretched out room-sized in all directions. And still it grew. Falling backward onto her rear end, Penny could only look up as Jenny reached goddess-like proportions, her laughter echoing like thunder.
"WELL, WELL, WELL," Jenn boomed, and Penny had to practically cover her ears at the volume of her voice. "PENNY'S A GOOD NAME FOR YOU, ISN'T IT? YOU'RE LIKE THE SIZE OF ONE NOW."
"You bitch!" Penny screamed. "Make me big again!"
But Jenn only laughed again. "YOU KNOW I CAN'T HEAR YOU, BUG. YOU SOUND LIKE A LITTLE CHIRPING CRICKET." She lowered herself down to Penny's level, and the tiny girl crawled backward, gaping up at a head that was, from her perspective, hundreds of feet tall. "I THINK YOU'RE SOMEHOW EVEN SMALLER THAN THE LAST GIRL I SHRUNK. LITTLE MARCIA. DO YOU KNOW WHAT I DID TO HER?"
Penny shook her head. She wanted to speak, but no words would come, and she knew Jenn couldn't hear them anyway.
But Jenn laughed and punched the chair with her fist, shaking Penny's entire world. "I SMUSHED HER LIKE THE BUG SHE WAS. SHE'S JUST A STAIN UNDER MY BEAUTIFUL FOOT, PENNY. IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO EASY."
Penny was now in tears, covering her face with her hands. She was so, so small, and she was going to die here, eighteen years old and not even out of high school yet. Jenn could obviously see her crying, as she moved her huge palm behind her, condescendingly patting the little girl on the back.
"AWWWWWWWWWWW, POOR WIDDLE ANT-GIRL. DON'T WORRY. I WON'T CRUSH YOU--SO LONG AS YOU DO WHAT I SAY." Then, with a flurry of motion, Jenn rose a bit, and Penny for the first time saw a huge necklace dangling from her neck across her plunging neckline. Her fingers pressed a button, and the necklace opened--it was a glass locket. "CRAWL IN THERE," Jenn said. "YOU'VE GOT TO THE COUNT OF TEN."
Of course, Penny didn't wait. The second the goddess-like girl began counting, she made a run for the locket, tears streaming down her cheek all the way. When at last she reached it, Jenn's huge pink fingernail pushed it closed, and Penny realized with horror that she was smaller even than Jenn's fingernail. The locket was wide to her, wide enough to stand up in, and the glass allowed her to see out rather easily, even as the rush of motion propelled it upward, as Jenn stood up to her full height and held the locket in front of her face.
"Here's what's going to happen," Jenn said, her voice muffled a bit by the glass. "You've been dating outside of your caste, my pathetic little nerd. That calls for punishment. I'm going to take what's yours. You're going to watch. And then, when I'm done..."
She licked her lips, then made a biting motion with her teeth that sent Penny scurrying to the back of the locket.
"...I'm going to get rid of you."
Jenn watched through the glass at Penny's reaction, obviously seeing how terrified she was at the giant girl, and winked.
"Don't worry, speck. It's going to be all over soon. Just try to enjoy the ride. I promise it'll be much, much hotter with me and him than with you and him."
And with that, Jenn let the locket drop, letting it come to rest between her phenomenal breasts and a veritable landscape of cleavage.
-----
Jenn was practically skipping toward the door, clutching her locket close to her chest. The plan was going perfectly. And just as she'd predicted, Zack was heading back to the computer lab right as she left.
"Oh, hey, Jenn!" Zack said. "Did Penny have to leave?"
Jenn leaned back against the door, one hand stretched out against the frame, smiling. She was quite a bit taller than Zack, and she thrust her chest out a bit until it was uncomfortably close to his face, causing him to back off a bit. "I think she might be around," Jenn said. "But she's definitely not in the lab anymore. We just made some small talk, she and I."
"Well, that's... good," Zack said, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "Did she say--"
"Say Zack, you're good with computers, right?" Jenn asked. She pushed herself off of the door frame and moved in close, glaring down at Zack with a smile.
"Uh... uh, yeah, I'm good with..." he stammered.
"Good!" With a flourish, she produced a notepad from her purse and a pencil from somewhere inside her cleavage, and she scribbled down an address. "My computer's having some problems right now, and I need a big, tough computer geek to help me out and take care of those mean, nasty viruses. Think you can help me out?" She slipped him the address, then seductively slid the pencil tip into her mouth. "I'll pay you."
Zack practically fell over backward. "Listen, uh... listen, Jenn, I'm in a relationship and all, so--"
But Jenn could only offer an exaggerated laugh, slapping Zack on the shoulder. "Oh, Zack, you kidder! No, sweetie, I mean money. I'll give you a hundred bucks."
Zack breathed a sigh of relief. "Six o'clock?"
"Six."
-----
"ZACK! PLEASE! IT'S ME, PENNY! HELP ME!"
Penny hammered her tiny fists against the glass, watching as Zack fumbled over Jenn's invitation. She screamed and pounded and screamed some more, but it was no use. He could neither see her nor hear her. She was just too small.
Penny collapsed onto the floor of the locket, burying her face into her hands. She had to find a way out of this. But... how? What could she possibly do?
