Tails decided he would start something to lure Sonic out. He noticed some of the easily flammable objects beneath him. He shot a fireball out of his mouth and onto one of the gas stations below. The gas tanks exploded and a huge inferno engulfed the station. He suddenly realized he enjoyed being this 7 foot, fire breathing creature of destruction. He flew down low and blew fire on several homes. A few minutes later, an entire district was in flames.
"That should lure him out." he said, his face turning into a toothy smile. Not too long from that moment, a blue streak sped right into the area. Sonic looked up and saw him.
"Who are you to burning up my town?" Sonic said pointing a finger at him. Tails then flew slowly down and landed 20 feet from Sonic. He moved closer slowly.
"Oh, Sonic," Tails said. "You should have guessed you'd be food for me!" He then charged and caught Sonic off guard. He held Sonic by the throat and lifted him up.
"Who are you?" Sonic said trying to breath.
"You don't remember me?" Tails said. "Let's just say I used to be a little sidekick of yours who was yellow."
"T. . .Tails???" Sonic said.
"Yes," Tails said. "But I think I have a new name. I used to be called Miles and I probably weigh about a thousand pounds, so I will now like to be called Kilo. And now, Kilo needs to eat!" He licked Sonic's face with his long tongue. "Mmm. You taste good. You'll be excellent nourishment!" He opened his jaws wide and pulled Sonic's head towards it. Sonic saw that pink maw looking eager to engulf him and saliva dripping from the roof of the mouth. He could even see the throat's entrance. Tails, or Kilo, pulled him away and closed his mouth. "Like what you see hedgehog? Good, because I'm going to eat you!"
"Tails wait!" Sonic begged.
"It's Kilo!" Kilo said.
Sonic kicked and punched trying to escape his former friend's grip. He was getting pulled towards the reopened mouth. "Please Kilo! Spare me! We're friends! Don't eat me please."
Kilo closed his mouth and pulled Sonic away. He looked as if he was thinking. Sonic breathed heavily. An occasional glance from Kilo made him shiver.
Kilo spoke. "Alright. I've decided. I'm gonna. . ."
