Waiting until dawn

Before any of us could say anything, we could hear mom screaming from the hall.
"Wait here", said Sophie, "I'll try to calm mom. It's not that you are going anywhere, Bobby".
She leaved the room.
"So", said Ashley, "Still bigger than me, huh?"
"Guess so", I said.
"Wanna try that stone again", she asked.
"Are you out of your mind", I said, "I could collapse all the house".
"Then, what do you have in mind?", she asked.
"I dunno", I said, "But I can't stay like this".
"Say that to your mom", she said.
Talking about the devil... Your mom and Sophie squeezed against your leg to get into the room.
"Oh, my Bobby, what happened to you?", your mother asked.
"Long story, mom", I said, "But the point is that the stone must be untouched until dawn".
"Why until dawn?", asked Sophie.
"Well", I said, "This morning it shrinked things; now, at night, it enlarges things. You don't need to be a genius to figure it out".
"But what will you do until then", asked Ashley.
