Chapter #9

He leaves the table...

    by: DP Author IconMail Icon
Phil decided that it would be best to escape from Karen while he still had the chance. In all honesty, he never believed a word she said. From the very beginning, he figured that Karen planned on killing him, whether or not he complied with her orders. Making him perform humiliating tasks was just icing on he cake for her. First, he scoped out his surroundings, and discovered that Karen had taken him to the library. The door wasn't too far, but Karen sat between him and freedom. He looked at the clock and saw that there was about half an hour of free period left. That's plenty of time, he thought to himself. He slowly began inching himself over toward the edge of the table. He stopped every time he thought Karen might look up, but she paid no attention to him. She was certain that her control over Phil was complete. Earlier on, Phil appeared to give off a submissive nature, but that was just an act. He thought that if he could convince Karen that he wouldn't dare to try and escape, he would be able to take her by surprise when the time came. And now his plan was coming to fruition. After about 6 minutes, Phil had successfully shuffled to the edge of the table. He then took a minute to think his plan through. Once he jumped off the table, Karen would notice him for certain. Not only that, but if Priscilla caught him . . . he didn't want to think about what would happen.

In a leap of faith, Phil jumped from the table and landed with a thud on the floor. He then bolted to the nearest bookshelf and took refuge. He squeezed himself in between to rows of books on either side of the shelf, obscuring himself from view. Based on eh noises he hear, he deduced that Karen had found out that he was missing, and was now searching for him. He then remembered that this particular shelf had one side (the width) placed against the wall, right underneath a conveniently open air vent. It took some doing, but Phil eventually managed to climb to the top of the shelf, although he was quite exhausted. He looked down to see Karen, looking right back. "Phil, get back here!" Oddly enough, her voice was filled with despair, not fury. Taking another look into her eyes. Phil realized that she seemed regretful and lonely, that she was about to lose her only friend. Yeah, well she should've thought about that when she tried to kill me. He turned back toward the vent, and ran inside. Once he was certain that he was safe, he started walking. It became very dark, but he managed to keep his bearings by sliding his hand along the wall.

Suddenly, however, he stepped into open air. Looking down, he saw that there was and empty spot where the bottom of the vent should be. It was probably moved to make repairs. As he felled, Phil tried to grab the edge of the vent. He was too far, though, and kept falling. Just when he thought he had reached the end, he fall ended, he was stopped by something very soft. More like two things. He had fallen right into a girl's breasts! He struggled and crawled to the top, and looked up to see . . .
