I am reviewing this entry as part of I write 2024. This is a nice prompt and entry. I am curious about your day count. Does it reference the amount of time you have been blogging? That is an impressive number.

For the prompt itself. I'm in a similar boat to you where I heard of the event but it was before my time and I am not familiar with most of the Rock and Roll musicians on the list. The one name I recognize is Ritchie Valens. I saw the movie "La Bamba" in school a long time ago. In the film Valens is portrayed by actor Lou Diamond Phillips. the plane crash mentioned in the prompt is depicted at the end of the film. "La Bamba" was Valens' signature hit. It was a very sad movie but I recommend it.

I like your writing style in this entry. It has an honest feel and gives a good sense of your personality. You have a good taste in music. Grunge is very intense but the Electric guitar makes for a great instrument. You summed up music very nice capturing its essence with the line "To carry a beat and create memories is powerful, and I know in some of my hardest times, music got me to the next day". It is a beautiful description.


I also browsed through some of the other entries in your blog as well. You have a nice variety with a good range of topics. I love the Dark Crystal information you share and the shot of the Dark Eye Spiral galaxy was great as well. Keep up the great blogging.
