![]() ![]() ![]() A Review from "The Iron Bank of Braavos" ![]() Hi Beacon My name is Lyn, I am one of the sly foxes. Title: Beacon's Info on Autism and Other Issues. First Impression: What needs your attention: Let's begin with this sentence because it's your opening and it needs to be compelling so the reader feels comfortable seeking more knowledge. When my son was about 3 years of age, I got him checked out by Harbor Regional (in Torrance CA) because his development was slow and his speech stopped which I was very upset and they got him diagnosed. My son was three years of age when I sought help at Harbor Regional. His development was slow and his speech stopped. I was very concerned about my son. Harbor Regional provided answers with his diagnosis Of Autism and ADHD. Make every word count. Take each sentence and ditch a lot of the ands. What part I liked best: I liked all the sources you found and have listed to help other parents sturggling with their child's development issues. Knowledge is power. Overall impression: This was an informative read about a topic that is close to home. Our eldest grandson became no-verbial at age 3. His pediatrician initially diagnosed him as autistic. When my grandson began working with a speech therapist she questioned the diagnosis. She recommended my grandson get a second opinion which was a blessing because the cat scan showed my grandson had had a stroke. His treatment plan was changed and he is a happy teenager doing the same as his peers. So yes, I understand the need for information and the value in second opinions.
