What I liked: I've looked at this contest a couple of times before, with a view to entering it when I get the chance.  Firstly, I like your presentation. The banner at the top of the forum page is really nicely done, with the water and pretty writing. Did you design it yourself? I also love the picture of a creepy house in your contest's window. The contest name of 'Spirits At Lighthouses' also draws your participant into the contest. I wonder, are all poems to be written in lighthouses? Or are there different kinds of houses. I am also wondering if this contest is open at the moment? If you are looking to advertise it, maybe you could speak with Phoenix McKnight  and ask about a partnership in advertising with his Paranormal Romance Contest. These two would complement each other, I think. If this contest is open now, I don't see any prompt. But, entries should be within the contest genres of Dark and Mystery. You have used the Brief Description section perfectly. That one sentence is what has piqued my interest in the past. I really like to write about hauntings and spooky occurrences. I also think you have great prizes for the winners. Your merit badges are all really pretty.Suggestions: I have a few suggestions. Firstly, on the main page, "Well, here's a contest, you can write about anything and I will put the prompts here in the forum" This confused me because we can't write about anything; we have to follow the prompt, surely? Another place that is slightly misleading (and this may be just me saying this) is "When you give your best poem, you will get a 75K Maroon Awardicon and the Merit Badge." This reads as though everyone who enters their best poem will get a 75K awardicon and a merit badge. Which I don't think is correct. It is only the winner who gets these. Parting comments: When this contest is open again, I will definitely try to fit in writing an entry. I like the look of it very much. Choconut
