The Positives/What I Liked
A beautiful free-verse piece from an angel's point of view--an angel who sings from above, knowing his/her legacy will be passed down through his/her children, through their eyes and smiles, like his/her own. How lovely! This poem warms my soul as I think about my own loved ones who have died and how their smile or eyes or whatever, has been passed down to me. I am a part of them.
Suggestions/Comments to Consider
Throughout: angle angelI used to have trouble with this word, too. Just remember angle rhymes with tangle. I also remind myself that the second syllable in angel, is gel. It may all sound a bit silly, but it works for me.
Stanza 2 - Line 4: thou brief though brief
Stanza 3 - Line 4: joycefully look joyfully look
Final Thoughts
An absolutely beautiful piece, obviously written from the heart.
