Greetings, Sumojo! I am reviewing this because I am part of "I Write in 2024" and you happened to post your entry previous to mine.

The Positives/What I Liked
This is soooo good, Sue! I did not know that Australia was not your country of birth. This reminds me of when I was a very young adult and wanted to go to Australia. It seems like there was an incentive to move there and I was in the mood for an adventure! It never happened, however. You've done a fantastic job with this shifting poem, though my heart hurts for you. Your rhyming and meter are amazing. It's hard to pick a favorite line, as I would like to pick the entire eight lines! So...okay, I'll just pick the first four (though I love them all!):
Realigning, shifting, sliding.
That’s how it felt to leave.
Changing, readjusting, missing
Family, crying. We were so naïve.
Excellent job!
Suggestions/Comments to Consider
I would change nothing!
