It was lovely to re-read about your fantastic, even "the best birthday I've had in a very long time" tonight. It's so nice when wonderful things happen to wonderful people. Your daughter, aunt, and parents sound like wonderful people too! So glad they celebrated you so well.

I wondered if you've kept up with the journaling? Even if not, the journal is surely still a nice reminder of your daughter's love and thoughtfulness.

I hoped things are better with your boss. That sounds like a tough situation.

My favorite part of your birthday that I would love to experience someday was the trip to "St. Louis to watch A Taste of Ireland - The Irish Music and Dance Sensation show." I've been to St Louis, but not seen that show. I think it'd be an awesome one. I'm a wee bit Irish and have always enjoyed seeing Irish dancing.

I thought you did a great job with the whole blog post. It felt like reading a friend's diary / journal. You are a very personable writer.
