![]() | Tell Me Sumthin' ![]() Tense exchange between opposing sides looking for stolen money with a murder thrown in. ![]() |
![]() ![]() ![]() Celebrating your writing this month with a review. Happy Account Anniversary Daisan ![]() I like the immediate intense drama playing out in "Tell Me Sumthin'" ![]() Clearly, not money reclaimed, not payback for taking from Lil Charles (whether small of stature or ironically large as moniker). Between the two of them, one is out to get whatever money and end it here. So, the counterpart gets to speak, making a move (good or bad to extend their association is yet seen) it may appear. The key to saving one’s neck/life is any useable intel or what psychological buttons to push, knowing in advance scenarios that will play out to have backup plans (as in this scenario), alternate sequences to outwit an unworthy adversary (it may yet reveal). Despite the portrayal of fear, the end of this short introduction shows us Zeke is in survival mode and not as weak a character as revealed (he’d have to be a sociopath if calm here, raising questions about James Bond and the lot (jk), but likely just brave, or idiotic, or ‘fiction’, the latter.). Not your typical protagonist or anti-hero being confronted here. Probably, still a weasel. You have two thirds of the Good, the Bad And the Ugly, so far. When does (beloved sociopath) Eastwood saunter in? ![]() This is worthy as an open to story, seeing how this offering could go in many directions, get a lay of some lands, and while considering your posted background, might know war games as a possible involvement with ill-gotten gains which I believe the Saudi Arabian war produced “Three Kings.” Hmm. *ponders*. So, it’s answering why Lil Charles is after Zeke, knew there’s money to be got, before he learns there might be more with a correct answer to the unposed Jeopardy question: ‘what is 10 thousand dollars’ to advance another round. Zeke is playing a long game, is likely a thief, untrustable, the kind people like to rough up. But, not the kind I’d waste a bullet/time on… unless I’m a PI, ATF/police/military and trying to reclaim something that could even be bigger than money. (Hello? Yes, get Indiana Jones on the line please? Harrison Ford, sounding bothered, “Fine, I’ll accept the charges, good for nothing…”) ![]() I like him, Zeke, as counterfeiter/hacker/two bit thief that scored big, knows stuff that Lil Charles could employ, maybe, instead of offing him until useless or a liability. Phew. (“How we doin’ so far, Indy? *shoots Nazi*) It would be fun to have a reverse 48 hours, where some character uses Zeke to track down Lil Charles, who gets all the money (but maybe there’s more is used as bait *thinks* {e:geek). Zeke always holds a card to play, but then some anti-Nolte shows up, just to abuse Zeke from time to time (Spinning too hard now). Murphy did fight back in a few spots. I’m pitching instead of reviewing now. But, inspired by this, soooo…I get these types of thoughts. Good piece of writing. A pleasure to have discovered as a WDC Account Anniversary reviewer. Best to you. Brian WDC Disability Writer’s Group and AccountvAnniversary Reviewer Sorry if unreadable in parts, bad eyes, and all. Been better days reviewing. Not feeling too bad here. Your last log on was March 10th. Hope you’ll be back to see. ![]() Chain Mail and Authentic Armor Model by day… How big is my head, really? I can take it. ![]() ![]() ![]()
