*Tulipp* The Positives/What I Liked

         *Bulletv* I just had to look up Squantz Pond. *Bigsmile* I found out it's actually a 172 acre lake (and State Park) in Connecticut that is named after a Chief from the Schaghticoke tribe. Since you chose Personal and Experience as your genres, I'm guessing you have been there. *Wink*
         *Bulletg* This is your very first poem? Wow. I'm totally impressed! I like that you did not use punctuation (and were consistent throughout). It feels free, and flows so beautifully, as it should for what it represents.
         *Bulletp* I also browsed through some pictures of Squantz Pond. It's absolutely beautiful. So I think my favorite lines are:

To gaze upon
Squantz Pond

         Nothing, really, though you might want to add a third genre that includes Nature. *Smile*

*Tulipy* Final Thoughts Great job on your very first poem! Even if it wasn't your first, it's still a good piece. So do you normally write short stories? Or articles? Or perhaps you are (or want to) working on a novel? All I can say is, you are gonna love it here! And it's so nice you already have a friend here who you know in Real Life. *Smile*
