You talk about fortune cookies and give some background about them.

My Favorite Part:

You describe the feelings of disappointment, both with the taste of the cookie, and how the "fortune" ruined your day. It was clear your feelings about these little cookies, and I appreciated your clarity. I feel as though they are given too much credence overall. I especially chuckled when you thought maybe if the cookie tasted better, you might give the fortune more weight.
