Hello autumnjave Author Icon

September 11 is forever seared into my mind. I was a young mother, pregnant with my second child. Mercifully hundreds of miles away, but still worried about what this would do to the USA and the rest of the world.

Your piece is very insightful. I can't comment on whether I believe that it was enough for two planes to take down whole buildings. I've never watched the whole thing and I have never found any credible reporting that would confirm your theory or that two planes was all it took. The facts are so sad that the physics are almost pointless.

Suggestions:

Instead of "On September eleventh, two thousand and one" write September 11, 2001. The only time that you will use letters in a date for the day or year is when it's the first word of the sentence.

"cafeteria in Knapp hall" usually, if a word is part of a name, it's going to be capitalized, so I think this should be "Knapp Hall."

Very easy to read first person account of a day in history. I am curious if the parents of those students who said they worked in the Twin Towers survived the day. That would be a great addition to this account.
