Your writing kept me riveted and I read straight through to the end every time. Congratulations to you on your twentieth anniversary here! Wow!  MORE DETAILED FEEDBACK:  Happy Writing.Com Anniversary month! I read this "20 Years!" blog post of yours sometime in the past (probably on your anniversary day) and enjoyed it, but didn't have time to review it right then, so I flagged it for an anniversary review (meaning I saved the link to it in a special "July" file.  ). I know Anniversary Reviews is technically closed this month, but I'm carrying on the tradition anyway. I hope you enjoy this review as a celebration of your time here and find the review uplifting and encouraging. It is meant to be honest and respectful, and in accordance with Writing.Com guidelines. It's amazing what a difference twenty years can bring in one's life. I wondered if you were glad to have settled down? Do you miss traveling around as a full-time rover? I also wish people wouldn't go so crazy with the fireworks. It's terrible for veterans with PTSD, wild animals, pets, and anyone sensitive to noise. Not to mention the danger of untrained people setting them off. I was glad to read that no one died this year, but sad that someone was injured. I guess there's so much violent crime around here that stuff like that doesn't make the news, but it wouldn't surprise me if we had injured people here too. I thought the embezzlement at the senior center was despicable and felt bad for the employees who didn't get paid and seniors who didn't get the meals they needed. It's wonderful that so many people are donating from your community though. It's a shame that it's necessary when there's a funded center. I hope it gets straightened out soon. It's hot and humid here. I don't mind the hot so much as the humid. Where in your state is the blend of best weather and most lovely nature? I have a family member who's thinking of moving there but he just sees it all as one big state, and I'm sure there are varied areas. Right now he lives in Maine and he really enjoys four wheeling on wild trails in the summer and does some snowmobiling in the winter. He's not a writer or I'd connect the two of you. He's also considering West Virginia, but I think he'd prefer your state. I hope you're able to stay cool and get the inside scoop on what's going on / went on at the senior center! I hope your next twenty years here is just as wonderful as the first! I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your "20 Years!" blog post. I thought the biographical, personal, and opinion genres you selected for this "20 Years!" blog post were appropriate matches for it. My very favorite parts of your "20 Years!" blog post were your conversational style of writing and how your personality shined through it.IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR PIECE STRONGER: I would love to have something great to share here, but I think it's wonderful as it is.
