MORE DETAILED FEEDBACK:
Happy Writing.Com Anniversary month! I read this "More Unique German Town Names" word search game of yours sometime in the past and enjoyed it, but didn't have time to review it right then, so I flagged it for an anniversary review (meaning I saved the link to it in a special "July" file. ). I know Anniversary Reviews is technically closed this month, but I'm carrying on the tradition anyway. I hope you enjoy this review as a celebration of your time here and find the review uplifting and encouraging. It is meant to be honest and respectful, and in accordance with Writing.Com guidelines.
I found your "More Unique German Town Names" word search game to be fun and interesting. Your translations were helpful and definitely added to the niceness of the game for me. I think I would have figured out all but "Uebersee." Even though now that I know what it means it seems obvious, without the translation, it was the hardest one for me. It was also the last clue I found on the board. Unsurprisingly, "Amerika" was the first one I found.
I loved your "More Unique German Town Names" word search game so much. It made me remember places I'd been in my own country that were named after other countries and places. Maybe I'll do my own word search on that! Probably not today... but next time there's a word search contest, haha. If I remember. We'll see! Just in case I don't remember, I've actually been to "Mexico" in the state of Maine, here in the United States of America.
This was one of the fastest word searches I think I've ever completed. Maybe because there weren't so many clues? I don't know why for sure, but most of them popped right out at me. My favorite part is always finding the last clue. I love how the whole board turns green when you get the last clue.
I thought you did a great job with coming up with (finding) a whole new set of interesting German town names for this "More Unique German Town Names" word search game.
You also did a great job with having a consistent theme in this puzzle. One of my best friends is married to a guy whose first wife was German. They visit Germany to see his kids from that first marriage. Everyone they visit there, I think, has been here, so I thought his ex-wife's family really liked traveling. Maybe it's Germans in general though?
I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your "More Unique German Town Names" word search game word search game. Not that I would know German mistakes, but English ones should pop out at me.
I appreciated that you included your own personal touches and sense of humor in the description.
I thought the travel, cultural, and entertainment genres you selected for this "More Unique German Town Names" word search game were perfectly appropriate matches for it.
I liked that you listed the clues in alphabetical order.
I think that it's a feature of all of the word searches here, but, as mentioned above, I liked that the whole game board turned green when I found the last clue.
My very favorite part of your "More Unique German Town Names" word search game was the international flavor of it.
