Hi Theday Author Icon. Congratulations on your 24th Writing.Com Anniversary.

I'm JACE Author Icon, and I have the honor of reading and reviewing your offering "How To Get ViewedOpen in new Window.. This review is one from a special edition of "Anniversary ReviewsOpen in new Window.. For the celebration of WDC's 25th Anniversary, we can select an item for review from any member who joined WDC within the first five years of existence. Thank you for your continued support, especially in those early years.

I invite your attention to the comments below. Please bear in mind these notes are from one on the outside looking in; ultimately only you can decide what's right for your story.

*Note1*  Overall Impression. This is an awesome reference for newer members starting out. It's a great refresher for seasoned members as well. I think many of us get complacent and comfortable in our writings, and a reminder as you offer here is a good asset. Articles like this that I find during my reviewing are listed in my Notepad (or Custom Links since I have a Premium membership) for future reference.

It looks like it's been 15 years since you last updated this item. A lot has changed at WDC since 2010, and this item will benefit from a little massaging.

Would you mind if I mentioned this article in my upcoming Noticing Newbies newsletter?

Also, I'm in the process of seeking out How-To articles such as yours to be listed in what I call "The File CabinetOpen in new Window.. I've a long way to go as I usually must stumble across these articles. I'm hoping to collate these helpful items in one easy-to-find place. If you ever become unable to maintain this item (downgrading a membership, etc.), please consider letting me assume ownership to keep it alive. I'll pay any transfer fees.

I suppose the danger of including specific information regarding WDC features is that the SM will change things up. Item 2 finds the site more than tripling the number of Static Items to almost 335,000 on Sep 14, 2025. And, under Item 3, you refer to features allowed in a Free membership--five items should now be ten.

You might consider saying that Journals and Blogs are normally Book items, which also require an Upgraded membership. Perhaps instead of listing specific features you can add the following to your article: "Compare Free and Paid Membership BenefitsOpen in new Window. or {item:1685983}.

One thing I mention often in my reviews pertains to Item 6. Not only do I discuss one's title, but also the brief description. They go hand in hand, and are both important to enticing a reader and potential reviewer to an item.

This is the first time I've ever heard about Title Wave. Was this something used in the early days of the site? I joined in 2008 and have never come across this action, or event.

Under Item 32, Eyes Only is Keep PRIVATE, for my eyes only!. Stating like the latter may avoid confusion for anyone editing their item.

Finally, you mention Upgraded and Premium membership levels, but not the Basic level. That level may be all a person can afford at the present, but will offer some benefits and features that may help his writing endeavors. The Premium Plus level may be mentioned because it exists, and is an option of the very serious writer.

*Exclaim*  Technical and Editorial Considerations. I normally list those areas that relate specifically to the mechanics of your writing here--punctuation, grammar, spelling, etc.

*Bullet* One typo under Item 3:
have more then 5 items over 50 kilobytes!
 then to than.

*Bullet* A typo under Item 11:
it'll mostlikey make them feel good.
 mostlikey to most likely.

*Bullet* You have an Invalid link in Item 14, which should be removed or changed if possible.

*Bullet* A couple typos under Item 21:
The highier the number the more experance ....  highier to higher, and experance to experience.

*Star*
My Rating.  4.5.  You've done the 'big' work with this item. The edits I mentioned above are to bring the article into line with the current features offered by WDC.

*Heart*
Thank you for sharing this offering. Please accept these comments as offered in friendship and support. They are but my humble opinion.
