Hi Lobelia is truly blessed Author Icon. Congratulations on your 22nd Writing.Com Anniversary! That's very impressive.

I'm JACE Author Icon, and I have the honor of reading and reviewing your offering "Sex EducationOpen in new Window.. My review comes courtesy of a special edition of "Anniversary ReviewsOpen in new Window.. Associated reviewers are able to select an item for review from any member who joined WDC within in the first five years of the site's existence. I thank you for supporting the site in those growing years.

I invite your attention to the comments below. Please bear in mind these notes are from one on the outside looking in; ultimately only you can decide what's right for your story.

*Note1*
Overall Impression. I love humorous vignettes about one's life, and kids afford so many opportunities to showcase that humor. There's a certain rationality that comes with the understanding of the world by the very young.

That Elizabeth understands that humans are animals at their basic is exceptional. I wonder when and where we stop learning to see the world in such terms.

Great title and brief description. They enticed me to read and review your humble offering.

My young grandson, also named Jace, was playing outside when he was four. The mosquitos were thick, and he was getting bitten pretty well. His mother tried to apply bug repellent, but Jace wanted none of that. "But, they like me; they like me!" he kept saying.

Your use of dialogue made the story work. I wonder if your children enjoy written stories of their youth as much as mine do.

Technical and Editorial Considerations. In this section I normally list those areas that relate specifically to the mechanics of your writing--punctuation, grammar, spelling, etc.

I found no issues with the technical aspects of your writing. Well done.

Congratulations of placing second with your story. It's always great to be recognized.
