What is it about Halloween? Well, I can say this - it's the start of like six months of candy and other such treats. I mean, Halloween has the skeletons and spooky things, Thanksgiving has the turkey things, Christmas (and other such holidays) has the winter things, Valentine's has the hearts, Saint Patrick's loves the green, and Easter shows off the eggs, and after that, it's just the regular stuff, unless one celebrates an Independence Day thing in the Summer, or has candy during other less celebrated holidays (or at least not celebrated much in America), but most of those are between Fall and Spring timeframe, meaning that candy and treats of any sort tends to be on sale then. Always something for kids, and those with a sweet tooth.
