This short story came up in my Random Read & Review, so here I am! This is a dark, vivid piece that blurs reality with symbolism in a powerful way. The writing builds tension as the narrator moves from a quiet moment to a haunting scene in front of the mirror. “She” works well as a metaphor, beautiful, tempting, dangerous, and the reveal that she is actually a blade gives the story a strong emotional punch. The ending ties everything together with the idea of regret returning again and again. The imagery is striking, and the mood stays intense from start to finish. You've done an excellent job!
