A silver cane - who would own one? Someone with money perhaps. A Werewolf Hunter not wanting to make their trade obvious but still wanting a means to battle their prey, or otherwise protect themselves or whomever a werewolf is after. However, it seems that the Protagonist had an encounter with a vampire, and that makes me wonder all the more. Why would a vampire have a silver cane? Is there a war involving werewolves going on? One must wonder.
