The Truth About Love

Need.
To love.
Delicate
dreams of soft words,
affectionate touch.
Whispered confidences,
rushed, breathy exhortations.
Promises hastily given,
hearts intertwined, passionate embrace.
Youth, I believe, is wasted on the young.
